// UNIVERSITY OF LEEDS, CHEMISTRY DEPARTMENT | cd-rom ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PROJECT OVERVIEW: to create a promotional multi-media device to appeal to potential students across the country. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BRIEF: to be used as an informative marketing tool to go out to school leavers who have shown an interest in studying chemistry at degree level, but are undecided as to which university they would like to join. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- REJUVENATE SOLUTION: a unique, innovative cd framework built in macromedia director. the concept comprised of a molecular click/zoom entrance system through to further information pages containing video presentations. the video was captured around the university campus and leeds city centre. multi-camera discussion forums enabled the students to speak openly about their university experience, which provided the perfect base for each particular section of the cd. all video captured was edited in avid and converted to mpeg, then optimised and placed within the interactive navigation. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- RESULT: the cd was mailed out to prospective students, plus, used as the backbone of presented material at open days on campus. admissions rose. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- REQUEST A COPY: to recieve a copy of all our cd-rom examples, please click here
